Grow their creative confidence
Community integration (Code 331) is about more than just participation—it’s about engaging safely, meaningfully, and confidently in shared spaces. I help families balance independence and safety, guiding parents in setting developmentally appropriate expectations that support their child’s unique needs. Whether it’s joining an art class, attending a community event, or exploring creative self-expression with peers, I teach strategies that help autistic children engage safely while fostering understanding among neurotypical kids. Through structured social opportunities and creative activities, children can build confidence, develop communication skills, and express themselves in ways that feel authentic and empowering. By focusing on clear expectations, safety planning, and gradual exposure, I help families create inclusive, enriching experiences where their child can thrive creatively and socially.
Activities you can work on together
Building a strong connection with your child starts with intentional, engaging activities at home that reinforce their development while strengthening your bond. Family/Consumer Training (RC Code 366) focuses on helping parents understand treatment strategies and integrate them into everyday moments. Whether it’s through play-based learning, structured routines, or simple daily interactions, I guide parents in using fun, developmentally appropriate activities to improve communication, emotional regulation, and social skills. By turning these moments into opportunities for growth and connection, families can create a supportive, joyful home environment where children feel safe, understood, and empowered.
Caring for Them, Caring for You
Supporting a neurodiverse child takes patience, dedication, and resilience—but caregivers need support too. Training & Counseling for Unpaid Caregivers (Code 371) provides parents and caregivers with the skills, strategies, and emotional tools needed to care for their child effectively while also prioritizing their own well-being. I help caregivers navigate behavioral challenges, stress management, and advocacy, ensuring they feel confident, supported, and empoweredin their role. When caregivers have the right resources and a strong support system, they can create a balanced, thriving home environment for both themselves and their child.

My approach focuses on practical strategies, emotional well-being, and community integration, helping families create safe, enriching, and growth-oriented experiences that meet their child where they are. Together, we build skills, confidence, and a foundation for lifelong success.
